HUBBY SURPRISED ME WITH A WEEKEND IN CAPE MAY. WE JUST GOT HOME AN HOUR AGO. THE WEATHER WAS FANTASTIC AND WE ALL WENT ON A WHALE WATCHING BOAT ON SATURDAY. THE BOYS LOVED IT. HOPE YOUR MOTHER'S DAY WAS FANTASTIC.

ON THURSDAY WE WENT TO SEE PETER AND THE STAR CATCHER. WHAT A FANTASTIC SHOW. IT'S THE PRE-STORY TO PETER PAN AND CHRISTIAN BORLE PLAYS CAPTAIN HOOK BEFORE HE GETS HIS HOOK. EVERYONE IN THE SHOW PLAYS MANY PARTS AND THE AUDIENCE GOES WILD. MY HANDS STILL HURT FROM CLAPPING. I'VE DEVELOPED A CRUSH ON CHRISTIAN NOW, HE WAS AMAZING.



THE TRAFFIC WAS HORRIBLE GETTING HOME AND THEN I FOUND OUT THAT OBAMA IS IN TOWN. EVERYTIME HE COMES TO NYC THE CITY COMES TO A STANDSTILL. ALSO JACK IS IN TOWN FOR THE NBC UPFRONTS. IT'S GOOD TO BE HOME.

WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD BE HEAVEN OR HELL FOR THE SMASH CHARACTERS? FOR INSTANCE;

DEREK HELL - Would be watching a bad bad musical that starred all the actresses that he "gave attention to" and him unable to direct or in fact say anything.

JULIA HELL - A world without scarves or accessories for her to hide behind.

ELLIS HEAVEN - A Harry Potter invisibilty cloak so he could be everywhere and hear everything.

I guess this means I've watched a bit too much Smash.

I think Karen gets the part. It's her body we see in the promo, not Ivy's. I love that Eileen is gonna use her power to face down both Ellis and Derek. I LOVE Jack Davenport, but Derek is a tool. I hope if he does go after Karen that she breaks his heart so he knows what heartbreak feels like and maybe has a human emotion.

Not sure on the pregnancy scare anymore, The most dramatic would be Julia. I think that since Eileen's husband comes back that maybe Ellis was a spy for him. Maybe that's why he gets fired. I wonder if it will stick this time.

I have no prediction for Ivy. I hope she doesn't get lost in pills again. In my opinion she is the best singer on the show, and definitely the best Marilyn for Broadway. Her mom is back for the finale, maybe Ivy has a breakdown and mama has to care for her.

Dev is another tool. Who cheats on the woman they love then asks her to marry him and then cheats again.

Don't care what happens to Michael. Hope Tom (my 2nd favorite character) and Sam are OK.

I love the ensemble so I hope that get more character development in season 2. It will be interesting to see how they drag this story out for another season, especially if they keep the same cast. For example, if Dev and Karen break up, how will Dev be part of the plot.

Hopefully Derek will grow a heart. It can happen, just look at the Grinch.

In rl - 2 more days of classes to go. I have my project completed so I can coast through next week. Taking the summer off, but I've already applied and been accepted to NYU for 2 classes in September. Next summer I should have enough credits under my belt to apply for an internship.
Got tickets for Peter and the Starcatcher for next week - can't wait.

And what happened with the Tonys. I was sure that Alan Rickman would get a nomination, even through I expect PS Hoffman to win. My brother is going to the Tonys with his boyfriend - I hate them both.

What's everyone watching? Other than Smash, Big Bang and The Killing, I'm not watching any TV.
What's everyone reading? Just finished 50 Shades of Grey. Very erotic.
What travel plans does everyone have? I'm trying to think of a vacation that will be fun for me, hubby, our 2 boys and Maggie. The boys are too young for Disney World / Land. We'll probably just go to the beach somewhere.

My ex Geoffrey sent us a save the date for his wedding in 2013. So I know where we'll be vacationing in 2013. Andrew is going too, so yay. I can't wait to show London to hubby.
