You might remember that I have a part time job with a local architect. There are just 4 of us in the office.

We are going to a holiday luncheon on Thursday. Am I obligated to buy them presents? If so, what? I really don't know them very well. Hubby did pick up some Target gift cards last week so I could give the secretary and the intern $25 gift cards, but what should I give the architect? He's a single man (I think gay) in his late 50's / early 60's.

At my last job we did a secret Santa and then I also exchanged with my friends there so I really don't know any other office etiquette.

I'm posting this before I forget it and I'm sure it means nothing and was Nyquil induced.

I just woke up from a dream where no one had faces and where there faces would have been were their lj names. Some were bright, some were faded and some were flickering on and off. I didn't know most of them so it wasn't just my flist.

I don't know where we were, it was a university town. I could tell cause of the buildings and all the students. But the town was surrounded by water and the whole town was sinking. You walked through 5 inches of water. And it wasn't sinking fast, I had the feeling that this was going on for awhile and no one was in a panic. Even though you couldn't see people's faces you judged them by their clothes or their mannerisms. This one woman came up to me and said I know you and told me my real name (i don't remember her lj name) and that she used to date my dad and that I must be happy that he's gone and I own the hotel now. She had trashy hair and clothes and I know if she had a face it would have too much makeup.

That's all I remember. weird huh.

THEATRE PROGRAMME 2002

In other news, we're not going to the Christmas party. I have a fever. This might be the flu. Not the piggie flu cause I got the shot, but the general all purpose flu.

Hubby called his boss to tell him that he was staying home with me and that we won't be going to the party and his boss said "I'm sure Lulu won't mind if you come to the party alone" and hubby blasted him "My wife is sick with a fever and she's 7 months pregnant so NO I won't be leaving her home alone" I like when he gets all protective. smile.

He also said that when I feel better he'll take me somewhere special so I can wear my new dress and shoes.

Going back to bed now. sniff, sniff.

Oh and there is something wrong with lj messages, I'm not ignoring anyone but they seem to be running days late.

BUT I'M HOME SICK AND BORED. Just a bad cold, but my nose looks like Rudolph's and my face is all blotchy and I weigh more than I ever have and hubby's party is tomorrow night and I feel like crap and don't want to go. NO ONE will hit on me this year. sigh. I want my waist back. I can't see my feet. And I bought these great shoes. sigh.

Unfortunately, yes. We wrestled with the schedule. We were originally coming back early January for two episodes, but then the Olympics were going to preempt us for two weeks after that. Then we'd be back on for another two, then another preemption, etc.

We decided we were better off delaying the premiere and then running the final 13 episodes completely interrupted. We felt it was the better scenario given the very scattered broadcast schedule we were facing.

In terms of the hiatus rumors, no worries, we're shooting episode 14 now, prepping 15 and 16
